As we close the chapters of those separate ministries, we embrace the dawning of a new chapter, the beginning of a new history of one people united in Christ, under one leader, Bishop David N. McDonald.
We Declare
That we are a people called by God to worship; A set-apart people operant in the five-fold ministry and gifts of the Spirit. A people who adheres to the practice of leading tomorrow by learning today. A people who loves truth, demonstrates the love of God, loves mercy, will weep with those who weep, and will represent God’s kingdom here on earth.
We Are
Torch bearers: We understand the historical trails that were blazed to get us to this point, and we also realize that we are the shoulders for the next generation to stand on and pass the torch forward.
Excellent Governors: We believe that the building of the kingdom requires excellence and order. We will work faithfully. We will be accountable. We will not compromise.
A Joshua Generation: We will not depart from the book of the law, but will meditate therein day and night, that we may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then God shall make our way prosperous, and we shall have good success.
We Further Declare
This to be a place where everybody is somebody, a place of Spiritual Development; Academic Excellence; a place of refuge; community and care. We are a multi-cultural, multi-generational and multi-talented communion; which will not forsake the assembly, but will embrace each other in love, patience and understanding.
To Our Adversaries
we say: we refuse to be defeated! We shall be unstoppable and undaunted. Rather, the high praises of God shall be on our lips, and a two edged sword in our hands.
We Decree
That blessings shall come upon us, and overtake us, because we have obeyed the voice of the Lord our God.
We Further Decree
An increase in anointing, an increase in membership, and an increase in our finances; we decree soundness of mind, teachable spirits; faithful stewards and God-fearing men and women.
Be resolved FCTC in knowing that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. God has decreed a thing and it has come to pass: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you FCTC an expected end.
