Meet Pastor McDonald
Rev. Dr. Yvonne McDonald was born in Jamaica, West Indies, the fourth of six children. She was baptized at the age of twelve. She will tell you, “I have been in church all my life.” In 1983 she migrated to the United States and really committed herself to Christ when she was received into fellowship at the Church of the First Born under Bishop Dr. E. Stewart.
Since 1991, Rev. Yvonne has served at the First Community Church of God which began with Bishop Leo McDonald, the establishmentarian of the ministry. As a foundational member she has served in several areas of ministry which has afforded her a keen sense of the structure and discharge of the various ministries.
Rev. Yvonne is the Executive Pastor and First Lady of First Community Triumphant Cathedral; a recently formed church from the merger of FCCOG and Triumphant Bible C.O.G. There she ministers side by side with her husband, Bishop Dr. David N. McDonald; Senior Pastor and Prelate of First Community United Fellowship of Churches.
